In South Sudan the capital of Jonglei state, Bor, has some descriptions as the most tolerated town of the South Sudan internal conflict, aged wreckage of reckless wars testifies its origin of decade long civil war, and deserted home of its resident living in exile. Also, the town is well known of being inhabitant of the well educated people that had centrally participated in the national self-autonomy struggle. There have been several generals of high merit in the army, engineers, lawyers, economists, journalists, doctors and most importantly prominent respected politicians with vision on the independent of South Sudan way in past.
Today, many people of this community are living historians with priceless knowledge of the struggle against past exclusive democratic system in Sudan. Since the first bullet was shot that culminated in the independent of South Sudan in July 9, 2011, the community invisible historians witness some disparities. History is much of lifelong learning process and only people who were in involved from day one of the SPLM/A are well gifted to answer some uneasy questions of movement internal unity, longevity and master minding of success one after another.
Advisably, an historian of straight facts should get connection mainly from Bor community experts for information so not to deprive the readers of their motive to get a sensible real inside story.
Not with intention to take you farther on edge with the big thoughts in connection to Bor community involvement during the decades of armed struggle, the purpose of this article is to give you some sense to perspectives of the Bor community today, ensure you are aware of the increasingly growth of the community in Canada with which leadership decision of solidarity will be paramount and as well bring you the knowledge of the newly formed association with leadership striving to give some individual responsibilities to engage in the community on the improving ideas that were brought up during the campaign. The named individuals in honour to the ten different positions created for the executive branch are provided hereon shortly.
Since the civil war of Sudan started in May of 1983 in Bor, the town became home of thousands in refuge. The prestige, pride and intellectual sense of being the first people of the movement armed to liberate their country from fault democratic system has become of a huge impact to present Bor community. Today, Bor people are in many nations with some still spending their lives in spiraling awkward situation of senseless conflict back home in South Sudan. The resettlers in Canada, the USA and Australia are viewed the luckiest and as well to somewhat extent the refugee in Kenya and Uganda. In Canada alone, there are hundreds of working resettlers from Bor community with full provision of permanent resident and citizenship status. The collaborative and cooperative of such working community members will be the basis of funding to support some social events in accordance with the election platforms.
Considering their continually growing number here in Canada, Bor community organising committee was formed to help moderating of the shared interest of purpose in social support, cultural activities, decelerating crime rate among our young people, and promoting coexistence with other neighbouring communities. Other warmly discussed agenda was a call for national leadership to generate some funds for the community emerging need through fundraising and investment. Now the organising committee has been resolved and the newly elected leadership has constituted directive, executive and advisory branches which are about to commence their obligations of the community services.
During the election on July the 1st and the 2nd 2016, John Abuoi Manyang was decisively elected the president of the Bor Community National Association in Canada and deputized by Abacha Maluk Deng. Nonetheless, even though Daniel Riak Mach with his running mate Kur Aguto Yuang were not the favour of the majority, Mr. Riak took a stage with a vibrant, unified speech one would love for this community. He left the stage with an unwavering support and sustained hand clapping. Now, there is the good news for the whole Bor community in Canada and particularly his supporters. Daniel Riak Mach is incorporated in the executive branch. Many people are praising the president and the deputy for their judgement that the former community leadership contestant is not only equipped with the message of community solidarity and unity of purposes but he is well fit for the community services in his whole capacity.
Again, not with a sugar coating of reservation, the community president John Abuoi Manyang and the deputy Abacha Maluk Deng have outspoken their message back of one community explicitly. The executive branch of the community was drawn from both sides of the debated teams with evaluated expectation of delivering on the community functional agendas. The president bear in mind the idea of inclusive community as he attributed the success in his victory speech last month in July: “winning a breakthrough to form the association that will be in charge of providing solutions to many challenges”, he said in the convention. Apparently, the two former contestants had won to form BCNAC and they will cooperate on many of issues of today community challenges.
In addition to the executive branch, the top most hierarchy of the association have already finalised the directive board of the community with a few add-ons of people previously involved in the community leadership. The complete naming of the directive board is posted on the community Facebook for your access from the following link: https://www.facebook.com/Bor-Community-National-Association-in-Canada-BCNAC-159623144439263/. The board have absolute authorization of independent evaluation, review and approval of the executive duties. As we speak, the board have a plan to set up their internal management without intervention of any kinds from the executive; the president and his deputy do not have further intervention hereafter.
On the other hand, given that the community association has his direct control of assigning to the executive, the executive positions have been fulfilled with the named persons in honour. The following are their names with respective positions in non-hierarchy:

After the formation of organisational leadership structures, the community website now becomes the following priority of agency. It would be easy if there is a new platform to ease communication process. The intact leadership has all means, resources and task force to deliver as soon as the secretaries are inaugurated to carry out their functions. There will be gathering event coming up but the date and venue will be brought to public once it has been confirmed.
